First Week

Hey i love you both so much! I just wanted to let you know that im doing great and loving every second! My p day isThursday but i wont be able to write until next thursday. Got it? Cool! Talk to you soon.

I made it through my first week!!! When i got here everyone was saying "just make it to Sunday and you'll be fine" but honestly i was fine the whole time! When i walked in my first day to meet my district i was like, oh boy this is going to be a long three weeks with these elders and sisters considering how quiet and shy they seemed. Boy was i wrong. Everyone was out of their shell by the second day and we've gotten sooo close. We all make each other laugh to the point of crying and our branch president said he's never seen a district bond so quickly. They're my family away from home and i'm so grateful for every single one of them. So my companion is Sister Brimhall and she's probably the exact opposite of me. She's from Mississippi and already has that southern accent down. She's never played soccer before so I've been teaching her how during exercise time because i need a partner really bad ha. But we both love the gospel so much and i've grown to love her and we work super well together. The mission president's wife actually pulled us aside and said we were a special companionship. Which is funny because the next day we got called as sister training leaders for our entire zone! It was pretty overwhelming because we just got here and now we're supposed to be the leaders but it's been a super humbling experience. I got my first 2 districts yesterday and gave them an orientation and tour of the MTC and it went really well. Alright so i thought the hardest thing for me would be waking up at 6:30 every morning considering the fact that i woke up at 10 all summer. But it hasn't been that bad! Everyone gets super tired during the day though. Like its really hard to stay awake during the day. But anyways something awesome we've learned here is that we're all on the same team. So anybody's success is our success too. Because everything good comes from God. We all need to make a complete 180 degree turn from the competitive world to a loving world. Therefore, we've erased all competition! Me and my companion got our first investigator Monday! His name is Kai and he's awesome! It's crazy to see how the spirit works and guides the lesson. Me and sister Brimhall had a whole lesson planned for him but when he started talking about his life and background story i felt super inspired to teach him about prayer. So everyday this week we've taught him more and more. Yesterday we taught him how to pray so at the end of the lesson i asked him if he would be willing to pray with us. This has definitely been the most spiritual experience i've had so far. Before he even said dear Heavenly Father i was in tears. The spirit was soooo strong. His prayer was amazing. That feeling made it all worth it for me and was a huge testimony builder for me that what I'm doing is right. I'm so happy to be here and i love being able to learn more about the gospel everyday. I have a nasty blister on my toe that hasn't been getting better so i went to the nurse and she said it might be cellulitis or something but we're all hoping it's not. Other than that i am perfectly great!:) Okay its super hard cramming a whole week into one email and I feel like im leaving out so much information so if you have any questions or want to know more just email me!! I love you all so much!

I love and miss you guys so much!! I dont know if i put you both in the group email but hopefully i did. also dont have wick and cc's email so could you send them to me? So i forgot some things and if you could send them that would be awesome!! If you call the MTC or look up on their website you should be able to find some place that shows you same day delivery services. If not, tell me and ill send you all the addresses. Please keep sending me dear elders they make me so happy everyday! So get whoever wants to talk to me and make me happy do that. Thanks:) alright here's what ive come up with so far: shaving cream (new bottle in white drawers in bathroom)

Also mom, im kinda sad that all you had to say to my email was, did you add josh?:( but its okay i forgive you. I had to get a flu shot today and im not feeling to well which is a bummer but hopefully it passes. So i ran into both of Noah's best friends! Andrew and Zach..dont know if i've mentioned them but i also ran into Logan Leech! Hayden Uhlers cousin. We did Mazoola childrens theatre together forever ago so that was funny. I feel like there's so much to say but not enough time. So ask me questions and ill do my best to answer. I love you!!!! I loved getting all those pictures! Thanks for that.
